Before you use them for your projects, make sure the brass angles you use are corrosion resistant. Brass angles are resistant to corrosion but it all depends on the amount of zinc used in them. If the zinc content is higher than 15 percent then dezincification, or the wearing away of the zinc on the alloy, may occur. This makes the brass prone to cracking when put under stress.

If the percentage of zinc is kept under 15 percent, which is the case with most high quality brass angles, there would be absolutely no corrosion. Compared to steel and iron angles, brass does not have any complexing agents and oxidizing materials, keeping it safe from corrosion. This type of brass is also not recommended if you intend on applying heat on the material.
